A new edition of a classic book by one of the great fly fishermen and angling communicators of the 20th century contains the original text of the 1963 first edition and incorporates an introduction to Kite by Robert Spaight for a new generation of readers. The book includes reminiscences of his fishing contemporaries such as John Goddard, Moc Morgan, Preben Torp Jacobsen, Yves Rameaux and Arthur Oglesby, photographs from the last five years of his life, colour photographs of Kite’s flies tied by well-known modern fly tyers, and notes about his fly patterns.
